Sigma 4 Brush Synthetic Kabuki Kit

Packaging:
Thick black wooden handles with holographic writing and a silver fennel. They are individual brushes with synthetic fibres.

Formula/ Texture:
These are extremely soft and dense - I can't stop touching them!! They are synthetic fibres meaning they are all perfect for liquid/ cream products. I feel like the thicker handle makes the brush easier and more comfortable to hold compared to a typical foundation brush.

F80 Flat Kabuki
This is my favourite for applying and blending foundation. The flat picks up the even amount of product across the brush and distribute it evenly.

F82 Round Kabuki
Perfect for applying and buffing in mineral products.

F84 Angled Kabuki
Perfect for applying and buffing cream blush/bronzer products.

F86 Tapered Kabuki
Perfect for those smaller contours of the face such as around the nose, under eye and hollow of the cheek.

They are easy to clean with baby shampoo, fully dry even deep, in the middle of the brush by the end of the day or 8hrs later. I haven't had these brushes shed on me even with daily use and washing. I'm hoping its' the different way I have cleaned them and I still use the Dry 'n Shape to dry and shape them.

I have noticed that the brush does pick up more foundation as compared to a Beauty Blender sponge or traditional foundation brush. I always dot my foundation onto my skin and then use whatever tool to blend it in. While this isn't annoying, it is a little concerning knowing I'm using more product to get the same amount of coverage.

I've had these brushes for a few months and what I love is the efficient and seamless natural finish they give as compared to using fingers or a traditional foundation brush. Fingers are still a great way to apply foundation for those on a budget, even for cream products that may need warming up. However these brushes can blend the product in to give a more seamless look. They are very gentle on the skin, no tugging or anything. For those with very delicate skin especially under the eyes, will still be able to use these.

In my eyes these don't compare to the Beauty Blender. For me it gives the ultimate, flawless, airbrushed finish and it's very easy to use and clean. These brushes are the brush version of a Beauty Blender in terms of finish.

I do agree that these are hitting the expensive side for makeup brushes, even if the price was broken down per brush. However each brush is very versatile in being able to be used with any cream or liquid product any where on the face. I think anyone with any level of interest in makeup can get use out of these brushes.
