I brought this starter kit as I was keen to try out these products and at the very most the HD foundation as I had heard good things being said about it. I thought that there would be no better way to see what I like and what may be a possible repurchase. I brought this kit online from the US site Sephora for $75 which is extremely good value considering the value of the products inside.  This starter kit contains 15ml/0.5 fl.oz. Primer (sample size), 30ml/1.fl.oz Foundation (full size) & 5g/ 0.17oz Powder (sample size). Packaging: Each sphere has it's own plastic sleeve that has all the product info on it. Each sphere is colour coded to the smell/ taste of it's name. The pink sphere is the only one that is in a cardboard backing for some reason. The sphere has a twist off top with the ball balm revealed underneath. It's very strong and portable and something different to the stick or pot balms you can get. Smell: Each sphere smells & tastes like it's name. So the mint sphere smells like mint :) Kinda annoying as the lemon and mint one don't tastes that nice too me! Colour: The balm them selves look like a cream colour but when put onto the lips it goes on clear. Packaging: Think flat round disc. Loose powder plastic container The bottom half is clear with a sifter. Top half is solid black screw top lid. The sifter has a product control mechanism to adjust the amount of product being dispensed.  Smell: None. Colour: Well Rested - beige colour with yellow undertones. Sheer pigmentation with a matte finish. It is uncomparable to Benefit's Powderflage (L) which is a pink powder with a more obvious sheen to it. Texture/ Formula: This powder is finely milled, smooth with a buttery feel. I feel as though the beige tint to the powder adds that little bit more coverage to the under eye area. This blush came in pan form without the traditional MAC black packaging. Smell: None. Colour: Very light pink. Medium pigmentation with a satin finish. This colour is great for a subtle flush to the cheeks, natural not overdone look. Perfect for weddings, low key occasions where a flush of colour is wanted. Texture/ Formula: It's a very buttery and finely milled powder. It has the same longevity as other MAC blushes which is 6 hours. Easy to apply and blend with a blush brush. Packaging: This comes in the standard NARS packaging which is a little case of black corrugated cardboard and then in a NARS cardboard packaged black box.  The bottle is a square frosted glass shape with a black velvet matte screw off lid. The opening of the foundation is quite large so the amount of product that is dispensed varies depending on the force used to tip the bottle up. Therefore I do strongly recommend using caution. A pump nozzle would be so much better for this product and I know NARS sell this separately online but in terms of ease of use it would make the foundation packaging that much easier to work with.
