Benefit Rare Beauty Kit

I brought this kit off the American benefit website as I'm on a primer kit and the Porefessional was one of the primers I wanted to try and this kit also comes with stuff that I always wanted to try in a mini size!! So instead of paying full price for these I can try them for the same price as two of these items and not be stuck with a full sized item that may take me forever to get through.

The actual beauty case itself is gorgeous! It is this smooth silky material where the top portion zips open to reveal the purple inside lining (with no pockets to my dismay). The pattern on the outside is this chic purple and silver and feminine floral pattern with images from the fairytale such as a dead tree, fairies etc. The front side has this silver metal plate which adds this element of chicness and the backside has the words 'rare beauty' in large font overing the whole side. The case has a cream top with a purple handle that can be pushed down.

It comes with an instruction booklet on how to use the products to achieve the snow white look using the products in the kit (as the kit was released for the Disney movie 'Snow White & the Huntsman after all)

So this kit was released for the Disney movie 'Snow White & the Huntsman, which is all about achieving the natural, porcelian skin, barley there makeup.

Stay Don't Stay Eye Primer

This beige tinted liquid is a little thick but does hold the eyeshadow on very well and doesn't crease. I don't think it is any different to other eye primers but I know on the full sized product the pump lid will be handy with easy application.

Hoola Bronzer Powder

This powder felt the same as the other boxed powders. It had the same fine and silky texture and wasn't a problem to apply. The colour was a little on the warm side and gave off a much lighter bronzing finish than Dallas. I think this would be a great bronzer but with so many other options available and for the amount and price-prehaps this would be best tried in deluxe sample kits.

Total Moisture Facial Cream

This face cream is so thick and moisturising. For me I defiantly think that this would be best in winter as it really hydrates and adds that missing moisturising back into the skin. This white cream smells like flowers and I think all skin types can benefit from it (pun not intended).

Defiantly a good kit to introduce me into Benefit and try out some of their well known products and all in a nice looking pretty carry case :)
