Benefit Porefessional Primer

Packaging:
Bright aqua 50's circle design box with a squeeze tube and black screw on lid. The size of the opening is very fine and small which is different as it offers a more controlled fine 'swirl' of primer. I do love how the packaging is travel friendly and can be cut open to get the last product out.
Smell:
Floral.
Colour:
Beige that when rubbed onto the face is sheered out and unnoticeable. Light coverage, very sheer pigmentation with a matte finish. I have been noticing a ashy/dull appearance to my skin.
This is different to what I was expecting due to the other brand of primers I've tried that have all been a gel like clear or white consistency. I dont think that the tint in the primer adds any colour to the face.

Texture/ Formula:
It's a smooth, silky feeling cream like primer. I'm being extremely picky here but it leaves a weird film on the hands when rubbing into the face that needs a towel to remove but is easy to apply using fingers. It doesn't feel greasy just silky and slippery almost. I did notice it ball up a little bit when applying it with my fingers.
I feel like this primer more sits on the face exactly where it's applied, then be absorbed. A little amount doesn't quite get a adequate even, smooth layer over the face and I have to use more primer. It makes me wonder if my foundation will sit on top of my face due to the thicker layer or be able to be blended into the skin.

The silicone slippery feel defiantly grips the foundation well and held up the longevity of it. I was able to get an extra 2-3hrs wear. I did notice my pore size visibly reduced. The consistency of the primer would have helped in filling in my pores too. The result with foundation did create a more flawless result. This primer does have a matte finish which even throughout the day held any shine back. I did use this with a setting powder and spray.
While the longevity of makeup is awesome, the feel of the primer and amount you have to squeeze out to efficiency cover the face. I do feel like the amount is more than I have used for other primers. It's a very good primer and especially for those with large pores and I'd be happy to try it again in a same form.
