Maybelline Color Sensational Lipliner #25 Toast

In wanting a lip pencil in a colour that would match seemingless with my natural lip colour and so it could go with any colour of lipstick, I choose this as I had no idea where and what brand/ texture to start with.

Pencil with a plastic cap.

 Smell:
Nil.

Colour:
#25 Toast - light brown with mauve undertones. Medium pigmentation with a matte finish. I was aiming to get a colour spot on with my natural lips but this colour is a tad more moauve than my natural lip colour. Available in 8 shades.

Texture/ Formula:
It's a dry and thin consistency. It is a little hard and tough to apply and didn't glide on the lips like I was imagining. It has a little give in terms of smudging it into the lips. It won't bleed, smudge or fade. It does last for 6hrs which I found impressive. However I don't feel that it gripped my lip product more. It felt a little drying on the lips. I don't like this liner, it is too hard to work with.

Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes.
