Formula 10.0.6 No Time To Shine Oil Absorbing Mud Mask

Image
I needed a mask and I had read previous times that mud is good for oily skin and with this being pretty affordable I gave it a try. Packaging: Soft green matte finish squeeze tube with cap. I looove  squeeze tubes as you can cut the cut in half and use your fingers to reach the remainder of the product so you know you got to the last drop. Smell: Clay. Colour: Light grey. Texture/ Formula: The mask is thick, not sticky and smooth. You do have to work a little quickly to move it around the face before it starts to form the mask. It dries to a white/ super light grey colour but thinner areas will dry faster than thicker patches. While it did leave a mattifying effect, my skin still needed a little moisturising afterwards. It didn't feel tight or uncomfortable when it was on. I did notice that my pores looked 'cleaned out' and gave a nice overall clean effect. I do feel like the small bottle is used quickly for the amount of product per use tho...

Manicare Precision Blending Sponge

Image
I want the most convert makeup tool in the beauty industry, the Beauty Blender, but like with most great things it's only available online on websites that ship to Australia. I saw this blending sponge by Manicare and thought that it was shaped similar and would be worth a try. Packaging: Purple palm sized hourglass egged shaped latex sponge. It has a wide flat bottom that enables the sponge to sit upright. It has a pointed tip at the top of the sponge. Texture: A suede feeling sponge, that is springy but doesn't really have a lot of give. It doesn't have that nice soft bounce on he skin. The pointed tip is for concealing blemishes, around the nose and roll under the eyes. The rounded corners near the hourglass shape is for larger areas on the face. The flat bottom is for blending, stippling and rolling on liquids. It's made for a flawless application of foundation, concealer, blush etc. The shape of the sponge is to minimise streaks, is gentle under...
