Revlon ColorStay Foundation

Packaging:
The foundation comes in a neat glass bottle with a black screw top lid. The opening is large and the product has to be poured out which is the only annoying thing about the foundation as I pour a little amount of product onto the back of my hand then use little bits of the pile to apply the foundation. Easy to store and easy to see how much you have left/have used.
**Update July 2013- now comes with a pump and controls the product easier**

Smell:
There is a disctinct smell of this foundation when sniffing it in the bottle that doesn't transfer to the face.

Colour:
150 Buff - light with yellow undertones. Full coverage with a natural finish. I have pink undertones in my skin so this cancels it out. This comes in 9 shades for both the normal/dry skin and combination/oil skin foundations.

Texture/Formula:

This foundation is thick due to the fact that it has intense colour staying ingredients. It has an SPF6 which sunscreen normally breaks me out but this doesn't. The formula has SoftFlex meaning that the foundation doesn't mask the face but allows the skin to move without the stiff feeling.

It's transfer and water resistant adding to the longevity. Using a primer, for me is 10 hours depending on the thickness I put on. If I'm going out it will be a bit heavier. I use either my hands, buffing brush or sponge. I find that I can get a more flawless application with a buffing brush. It is a little more difficult to apply due to it's thickness so start with a small amount and work quickly to get it applied evenly. This would be a totally awesome product if there was a pump for the bottle.

like the constant look this foundation gives over a long period of time. The full coverage does allow for blemishes or discolouration to be concealed which is what I look for in a foundation. I don't want to be worrying about my foundation wearing off.

Honestly compared to other full coverage foundations, this is a little thick feeling on the skin. This is the thing that ruins it for me. Over time I've noticed the heaviness will settle in and lines and not let the skin breathe potentially clogging the skin if yours is sensitive. This isn't what I want, so I have to use a very small amount so half a pump, that gives a medium coverage that avoids this but doesn't make me enjoy this foundation much.
