Clarisonic Classic For Face & Body

First Impressions:
Wow this product is wonderful. My face feels firmer, fresher and as if there is no cleanser/makeup left behind. Defiantly impressed. The massaging/cleaning motion is gentle and not harsh at all. A little unexpected but nothing that is so bizarre you can't get used to. Quite exciting to use too.

Packaging:
White hard plastic device. It comes with it's own storage and charging port that it sits in. The charger end is wide and white, mirroring a similar shape to the Clarisonic system. There is an interchangeable brush head that sits at one end with a removable plastic protection cover. It is advised that the system be charged for 30mins weekly.

The front/underside with the brush head has a grey felt plastic area with the soft touch on/off button. The backside of the system has two lights. When turned on, the top lights green. When the battery is low and needs a full charge the top and bottom light flash red. When charging the top light flashes green. It is fully charged when both lights are a solid green with no flashing. When the system does it's one minute cleaning routine the light and system is turned off.

Overall:
This little gadget is amazing. Essentially it is an electric face brush. The first of it's kind and market leader. It uses sonic waves to deep clean the skin getting right into the pores. This is as munch as 6 times better compared to your hands.

It also helps that the sonic waves are set for a minute, the longer cleaning helps to evenly clean the face. Using the instructions you can change the interval times but the standard intervals are 20secs for the forehead and nose/chin and 10secs per cheek. At each interval the system beeps and the brissles stop vibrating.

There are various types of brush heads you can buy. Clarisonic do recommend to replace your brush head every 3 months to get rid of the worn brush and keep the effect. This sound alike a marketing scam to get more money abut after 3 months I could defiantly tell a difference in the way the system was cleaning my face. Each are identifiable in the colour of the box and base. My classic and original came with the white head which is for sensitive skin. It is recommended that the brush head is removed once a week and that area cleaned out as some chunk residue can build up and be transported back through the head.

There is a green for acne skin, light blue for delicate skin, grey for normal skin, white base with blue brissles for deep pore skin (my favourite) and a body brush for use with face and body systems. These aren't itching or scratching but surprising really soft.

Clarisonic also make different skin cleansers of which 3 samples were in mine and available in full size. They were good but I do prefer my own cleanser. They only cleanser product you can't use with this system is exfoliating cleansers/face scrubs. These are too gritty along with the sonic waves.

My skin feels clean. Sounds weird but it has that refreshing, rejuvenating feel to it, as if it's removed all dirt and lifted dead skin cells. It feels awesome!! The main reason why I took the massive plunge and brought this is to help cleat my acne. And that it did well. I do think it was also in conjunction with better skin habits but this played a major part in clearing it up.

It didn't happen over night but progress could be seen after 3 months, using it morning and night daily. The whole technology for this is beyond me but I am very impressed with this system and won't be without it. It's nice and relieving to see my skin clearing up. After using this for six months I can feel a major difference if I don't use this and the way my skin feels. Defiantly won't be without it in my life!!

I can't say enough things about this. It works wonders. Yes it is pricey but very worth it. There are dupes of this brush by so many skin brands, but this by far works the best and like the saying goes you get for what you pay for.

Available:
From Myer for $300+ and the replacement heads at $30 a piece. There is also a smaller Clarisonic version out called the 'Mia' and this is considerably cheaper.
