Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Gel

Image
I saw this as I was glancing down the aisle and coming out of a breakout phase and being left with what I believe are acne marks, I thought that it wouldn't hurt to try even if they were slightly less noticeable. Packaging: Small squeeze tube that is 2/3 clear plastic and 1/3 coloured plastic which is good as it provides an indicator of how much product is left. It is easy to store as the size of the tube is pretty small. It comes with a clear screw cap that can be fidly. Smell: Weak alcohol that isn't overpowering but still isn't pleasant. Colour: Very light orange. Texture/ Formula: Gel consistency that is slightly runny and wet. It feels non-greasy and is easily absorbed and applied.  It hasn't stained or bleached any clothes, towels or pillows. Please keep in mind that I have combination skin type. I've had no irritation or dryness whilst using this. I have used it both morning and night under makeup with no problems....

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes Night Calming

Image
Packaging: The towelettes come in a flexible purple plastic pack with an re-sealable sticky opening, that can dry out the towelettes if not sealed properly after each use. Smell: Nice florally. This specific variety have a unique calming fragrance that helps unwind and prepare the body for sleep. Colour: The towelettes are white, which helps in knowing what area of the towelette is clean. However the actual cleanser thats on the towelette is a clear liquid. Texture/ Formula: The cloth is a decent square size (19 x 18.5 cm), with a decent thickness to them. They are very gentle on the skin and feel soft, I don't feel as though the towelette is unnecessary pulling at my face. The remover itself is ophthalmologist and dermalogical tested meaning that it won't and doesn't sting the eyes or cause any irritation. It's alcohol free and allergy tested which is a big win in my books because this means that it wont dry out the skin a...

Items That I Want..Yesterday

Image
Ahh so I thought I'd complie my list of things that I've wanetd for a while. Actually it's one thing. You know the makeup and beauty things you've read about and you wanted yesterday, thats how much you wanna have your hot lil hands on it? Well heres mine; Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15 It's Chanel, enuf said. Its a fine liquid foundation that gives an even, invigorated & radiant complexion without being shiny and greasy is something I would like to try and see how it matches against Revlon Colorstay foundation. Actually any of Chanel's foundations as I've heard good things about them as their worth the money.

Physicians Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls

Image
I was after a powder highlighting product purely to highlight my cheekbones. Honestly I wasn't really aware of what powder products were available nor was this urge to have a highlight product huge, it was a something that caught my eye when strolling through Priceline. Packaging: Round palm sized shiny metal plastic compact. The top half of the compact contains the powder itself in a clear dome lid with a fake half pearl embellishment. The bottom part of the compact includes a mirror on the reverse of the powder pan and a ditch for the included brush. The powder itself has raised bumps in a circular pattern that follows the shape of the pan. They remind me of replicas of pearls and has a irradesiant shimmer coating spray over the top.  Smell: Fragrance free. Colour: #7040 Translucent Pearl - champagne/peachy/pink colour with icy shimmer with cool undertones. Sheer pigmentation with a frost finish. Texture/ Formula: It's a fine...

Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover

Image
I saw this and thought it was a neat idea and wondered how well it worked on heavy eye makeup. Packaging: Clear hard plastic bottle tinted a blue colour with a goldish brown screw off lid. The spout is large with no stopper but placing a cotton ball over this does deliver adequate amount of product. Smell: Faint aloe vera. Colour: Clear liquid. The blue colour is the tinted colour in the plastic container. Texture/ Formula: 100% Oil-free which on my eyes is no concern but is good to have in a makeup remover none the less. It also has aloe and cucumber extracts that soothe the skin. Non-greasy but leaves a slight residue that is easily removed with a cleanser. No burning or irritation to my eyes. Theres absolutely no pulling or tugging on the eye. Yes it does remove heavy and dark makeup with ease. I soak a cotton ball and press it on my eye and leave it there for 15 secs to breakdown the makeup then pull it across my eye. It does ...

Johnson Dream Body Lotion

Image
Packaging: Light purple tube with pump. The pump dispenses a decent amount of lotion but be careful when pumping fast as the lotion squirts further than with a normal pump. Smell: Lavender & moonflower which have relaxing and soothing properties. Colour: White. Texture/ Formula: The lotion is exactly that a thicker consitency than a gel with a velvety finish. It is easily absorbed into the skin. It made my skin feel really smooth and hydrated. As for the relaxing, night claiming side of the lotion, I did feel relaxed but I'm not entirely sure it was because I was using this lotion, prehaps it's just my normal night routine and having nice smooth skin was just relaxing? The whole idea of putting lotion on at night before bed is so it aids the body in regenerating and renewing the body. Love the smell and the hydration to my skin. Available: From Priceline, pharmacies and discount department stores for $7 for 400ml.

MAC Lipglass

Image
I have a small collection of M.A.C Lipglasses and I wanted to share my thoughts on them. Packaging: Lipglasses come in a round tube that has a clear bottom to see the colour and amount left and a shiny black top where the built in doe foot applicator is. However in my experience the sponge doe foot applicator doesn't always guarante an even application to the lips. They have they M.A.C black writing in the bottom half of the tube. Smell: Vanilla. Colour: They are 29 permament colours with additional colours that may be released throughout the year in limited edition collections that are a few dollars more. Mostly they are opaque in their pigmentation but some may be more on the sheer side. The colours that I currently have are shown in the picture below. From left to right; Dreamy, Prrr, Pink Poodle & Lychee Luxe. Texture/ Formula: I find the lipglasses to be sticky. They do stay on the lips for a long while but I think ...
