Lancome Grandiose Mascara

Packaging:
Sightly smaller hand length acrylic mascara tube. Oddly shaped. The base is a solid shiny black in a bulb shape, making it easy to hold but difficult storing laid down in a shallow drawer. This fades into the clear handle which a black rose is suspended into.
Each side features a silver 'Lancôme' or 'Grandiôse' text. The handle is a fat triangle with a flat top. The triangle shape loosens and converts into a round edge as it moves down to the mascara base.

The wand is S shaped to help apply the mascara closer to the roots. It slim with short bristles at the tip and get longer towards the handle, also in a 6 prong star pattern. They're positioned in segments of 3 varying heights.

Smell:
Typical mascara. Smell changes when product is bad.

Colour:
01 Noir - black.
Available in one shade.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a wet, think liquid. Gives length and separation to lashes. Infused with rose cell extract to nourish and soothe. Easy to remove with no smudging.

Initially the S shaped wand makes taking it out of the tub a little getting used to.
It gives the eyes a wide angle effect but while it was a decent mascara it wasn't one of my favourites.

Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes. I have average length lashes that have a very slight natural curl to them, so I want a mascara that does it all- volume, length and curl. I always curl my lashes before mascara applicati...
