Image
Packaging: This is a unique small black tear drop shaped sponge that's soft to the touch. The curves are designed to fit the contours of your face. The plastic containers acts as a stand to air dry the sponge away from dirt. Smell: None. Colour: Black Formula/ Texture: The purpose is to hide stain of long wearing products to provide a more professional look. It delivers the same outstanding results as the original Beauty Blender Sponge. T he curves are designed to fit the contours of your face.  It's also very ea sy to hold, I feel like there is a decent amount of sponge when stippling onto my face.  The Sponge has a patent-pending elliptical shape making for fool proof makeup application with no streaks.  Use the pointed end and the stipple and roll technique to work make up into depressed areas of the face. These actions feather out the makeup's edges, leaving a perfect finish. A literally flawless look. The skin looks as t...

Too Faced Better Then Sex Mascara

Image
Packaging: Baby pink smooth metal tube with embossed writing. The wand is an hourglass shape with long wire bristles. It does have a little weight to it but the basic packaging works for me as it's different, not too catchy and stands out in a makeup drawer/bag. Smell: Mascara. Colour: Black - deep pigmented black. Formula/ Texture: This is a standard formula that isn't too wet or dry. The brush is easy to use and get deep into the lash root to place product. If I'm rushing I do get some transfer right above my too lash line but I don't experience anything else. No smudging, transferring or flaking. It does take a little extra care to remove it with a basic makeup wipe. I don't apply a lot of mascara on my bottom lashes but this mascara does make them look dramatic which I'm liking. On slightly warmer says I have found my bottom lash line to have some smudging so if you have long bottom lashes it's possible you'll get ...

L'Oreal Colour Riche Lip Liner Magique

Image
Packaging: Typical pencil lipliner. The semi shiny gold packaging features black text and a clear plastic cap. The end is white to indicate the colour. The tip is quite wide and rounded in a lip liner term. Smell/Taste: None. Colour: Transparent - clear. Only available in this special shade. Formula/ Texture: This is a smooth thin wax. It's lightweight on the lips and glide on easily from the pencil. If in contact with the skin it does leave a matte finish if you look right up close to it. From here it is easy to blend into the skin further. Like with the other transparent lip liners, this has a multi use. It can be used for anti feathering of lip products which is how I'll be using it. Or it can be used as a clean up tool after lip product application to remove product and make the lip colour precise. This does work really well for the first Australian drugstore liner of its kind. Lip colour stays inside the line drawn! Available:...

MAC Lipliner Edge to Edge & Ruby Woo

Image
Packaging: Typical pencil with a total matte black finish with silver text. It has a long tapered opaque cap. The pencil tip is fine and pointed. The end has the shade indicator which is a little off the actual colour so I wouldn't advise to rely on this. Smell/Taste: Standard wax liner. Colour: Edge To Edge - pink mauve with cool undertones. Pigmented with matte finish. Ruby Woo - red with cool undertones. Pigmented with matte finish. Released with 11 other shades into the permanent line up. Formula/ Texture: This is a thin, creamy but slightly stiff consistency. It glides on well with very little tugging or skipping at all. It feels lightweight and comfortable on the lips. It is easily removed with a basic makeup wipe. I didn't experience any bleeding or feathering but I did use a clear/transparent lip liner. The top layer did transfer a bit onto food and drink. I don't find the formula to be hydrating or drying but as the formula is ...
