Covergirl Outlast 3 in 1 Foundation

Packaging:
Oval glass bottle with a blue pump and clear plastic cap. The bottle fits comfortably in my hand, the pump feels more chunky then needed. Otherwise it pumps smoothly.

Smell:
None.

Colour:
#810 Classic Ivory - light beige with yellow undertones. Medium to full coverage and a satin finish.
Available in 6 shades which isn't the widest.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a thicker liquid. Not saying it's as thick as the Revlon Colorstay Foundation but it's defiantly a lot easier to work and blend out. I find either my fingers or a Beauty Blender gives a more flawless finish with a brush providing a streakier finish if the time isn't taken to blend it in properly.

This is marketed as a foundation that has the combination of 3 products in one. I've tried this numerous combinations with the same result - I love this!!

1 Primer: It has enough slip in it to act as a moisture barrier like a primer would do but doesn't break me out. An additional primer adds that extra moisture to my face but the foundation still smooths out evenly and easily to my surprise. I was thinking it would skip over the face in patches.

2 Concealer: Any heavily pigmented pimples, acne scars or under eye bags will need extra coverage. For those light imperfections, this does act very well in being an additional layer as a concealer. I don't do it often in fear of it setting into fine lines which this doesn't.

3 Foundation: It has decent coverage that can be easily built up without any caking due to the added moisturising primer aspect. I'm not a fan of the coverage selection but this shade is a little light for me but seems to colour match very very well to my skin tone. Dark skin and very pale girls will struggle to find a shade. This has a longevity of 10hrs on me.

Power helps to keep the minimal shine away for longer but I don't feel as though it adds to longevity. It contains an SPF of 20 which is perfect for day wear but again it doesn't add any extra shine. It hasn't broke down on me but oily skin girls will want to powder with this. It does cling onto dry patches but not as bad as heavy duty long wear foundations so exfoliated skin is important.

I really like this foundation more then I thought I would. It's lightweight on the skin but provides decent coverage with a flawless satin finish were it still looks like my skin. The sunscreen element is perfect too. This is my new full coverage foundation that's damn quick to apply.

Available:
From Priceline, chemists and discount department stores for $20 for 30ml/1fl.oz.
