Benefit "that gal" Brightening Face Primer

Packaging:
I have the sample size which is a mini version of the full sized product. This one has the sunset over the city buildings cartoon wrapped around the whole tube with the twist off cap. I know the full sized product is a twist bottom tube with a sponge tip applicator. Im not sure how much better that would work as I can imagine you would still have to rub it in suing your hands.

Smell:
Watermelons!!

Colour:
Peachy pink colour with more pink undertones. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish.

Formula:
It is a smooth thin consistency with a slight silicone feel. It can be applied with fingers or a brush evenly and without ease. It didn't break me out even though it's not claiming to be oil free, no sensitivity or irritation.

It did grip my foundation on well but not amazing. My pores around my nose aren't as noticeable through foundation either. The longevity of the variety of foundations to be good of up to 10hrs. In saying that it didn't reduce or enhance the natural shone on my face.

I've never tried a 'brightening' primer before. The pink toned cream defiantly does add some brightening effect to the face and I looked more awake. I didn't see much of this brightness come through my foundation (MUFE HD) only a little. Nothing significant. What I did think it did is help with the overall even skin tone, reducing the need for concealer. 

 I really enjoyed this primer and I think most people will. However for me there isn't anything great that stands out and makes me go wow, this primer is awesome. I'm not sure if there is any other brands that offer a brightening primer, maybe Stila One Step Correct?

Regardless if there was a kit with a deluxe sample of this in it, I would be happy to re-try it again. If you're after a primer that can offer you a little degree of brightness to the face then this will be worth a try for you.

Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes.
