01 Excessive Black. Opaque pigmentation from saturated and waxed black pigments. Only available in this shade.
Texture/ Formula:
This formula is very wet. It's one of those mascaras that get better the older it is/ the longer it's been opened and exposed to the air. Once it's been open for a couple of months it does flake. There was some transferring to the brow bone if time was given for it to set. Any movement of the lashes from here would then cause the mascara to transfer. It does take more effort to remove with a a basic makeup wipe.
I got this mascara for it's volume. It does deliver good length and curl compared to Hypnose but the same amount of volume. I think the S.shaped curve brush is the element that delivers volume. The brush does take a few uses to adjust too. It is superb at getting into the inner corner lashes. I use the "cup" or dip part of the wand against my lashes so the shape of this cup follows the natural curve of my lashes. Which I think has given me a better result then using the shorter side of the mascara wand along the curve of my lashes.
What I hate about it, is the way it clumps my lashes together once it starts to dry out. It's worse when many coats are applied. It looses the definition of my lashes and instead I look as though I have 8 thick, long, individual lashes. Just not a look that I want. Hopefully the blurry photos below give you some indication of the volume this mascara gives.
I've realised that I'm not a fan of the wet formulas. If you have naturally longer lashes and like wet mascaras then this is up your alley.
