Benefit Badgal Lash Mascara

Packaging:
Black tube with silver handle. The mascara name is written on the side in white and pink colour which adds a nice contrast against the tube. The wand is a traditional wand made from wire bristles and coned shaped. The wand size is large compared to come other mascaras but is something that I am used to so wasn't a problem.

Smell:
Wax.

Colour:
Black. Opaque pigmentation. Available in 3 shades and a waterproof version.

Texture/ Formula:
The formula is thick and dry. Theres no flaking or extra product on the wand. I had no irritations and found it easy to remove.

This is one of those mascaras that is great when first opened and used. It gives such great volume and length in my lashes. I wouldn't say that the curl is all that awesome, I think the Dior DiorShow does a much better job in these 3 areas. You can build the volume & length by adding more layers but I wouldn't go past 3 coats as I had run into the beginnings of clumping.

I really like the effect of this mascara but I don't like how it seems to dry out in a month and a half with regular usage, and make my lashes look short and clumpy!! It would be great for those with naturally long lashes.

Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes.
