Garnier Bodytonic Sugar Scrub

Packaging:
Squeeze tube with half yellow opaque and half clear plastic. I can physically see how much product is left and not just judging by weight. As this scrub is thicker and grainer, a little bit of product can be get clogged around the nozzle. These are durable products that are also able to be cut open to use remaining product.

Smell:
Citrus & apple extract which is also known as a stimulating agent. Goodness I loooove the smell of this is soo refreshing and awakening and just very pleasant.

Colour:
Yellow grain scrub with orangey-red beads.

Texture/ Formula:
It's thick and grainy in consistency with sugar particles. It's a little goopy but still easy to apply and remove. I feel that a good handful of product is needed for the entire body which means the product isn't really going a long way. Gariner do recommend usage of 3 times a week, so the tube will last you a month. Now that's getting expensive.

I've never used a scrub or any sort of firming lotion before. I do know they help with the elasticity of the skin making it tighter by removing dead skin cells, help move any extra fluid around so it can be drained from the body which would give a more toned and plump effect. After using this on a weekly basis I do notice a little more firmness in my skin, I wouldn't say massively toned.

That's not why I got it, it does exfoliate the body to reveal soft, smooth skin. The scrub isn't harsh or cause me any irruption. I use it in the shower so I'm not able to tell if there is any moisturising benefits once it's removed.

A loofa glove/pad is much more economic for the same effect. And thats a shame because it smells really good. It's nice to have a scrub in a ready to go tube but not necessary.

Available:
From Priceline, pharmacies and discount department stores for $12 for 200ml.
