L'Oreal True Match Powder Compact

Packaging:
Plastic compact, great for the handbag and for touch ups for nights out. It comes with a sponge in a storage section under the powder itself but I never used it in as sponges need replacing often as product gets 'caught' in the the pores of the sponge and bacteria grows and most likely gets transferred to the face which causes blocked pores and blemish.

Smell/:
None.

Colour:
W1 which is the lightest- light beige. Sheer pigmentation with a matte finish. Available in 5 colours.

Texture/Formula:
The powder is fine and smooth. It's lightweight and easy to apply. I use a powder brush which I find to pick up enough product without going overboard. When using a brush you have to be careful not to swipe too much/too hard as this causes excess and too much powder is put onto the face. In these cases a simple tap of the brush is all that is needed to remove this excess.

I does add a slight tint to the face and sets foundation well. I found this to give a little bit of a white cast when you pack it on, so again the warning goes out to not use to much. It defiantly lasted a long while. It's a great alternative to loose powder.

Available:
From Priceline, pharmacies and discount department stores for $30.
