MAC Lipstick 'Coral Bliss'

Image
Packaging: This is the standard lipstick packaging from MAC. It's in a small short round bullet with a round tip cap. There is a silver rimmed bottom on the cap with 'MAC'  text. Inside reveals silver mechanisms and 'MAC' text from the cap. The lipstick bullet twists up with ease and I have never experienced any problems. Smell: Vanilla. Colour/Taste: Coral Bliss - true coral colour with slight silver shimmer that isn't noticeable. Opaque pigmentation with a semi gloss finish. MAC describes it as a light coral. I love this colour as its a wearable coral colour that isn't a typical nude or beige, well for me at least. I feel as though any skintone can pull the colour off and it's a very summery colour.  This colour is very pigmented and gives an opaque coverage. Formula/ Texture: This is a cremesheen meaning the texture is creamy and thin. I don't find this drying but moisturising even though I don't think it...

MAC Lipstick 'Ruby Woo'

Packaging: This is the standard lipstick packaging from MAC. It's in a small short round bullet with a round tip cap. There is a silver rimmed bottom on the cap with 'MAC'  text. Inside reveals silver mechanisms and revers 'MAC' text from the cap. The lipstick bullet twists up with ease and I have never experienced any problems. Smell: Vanilla. Colour/Taste: Ruby Woo - true red colour with slightly blue undertones.  Opaque pigmentation with a matte finish. MAC describes it as a vivid brightly coral red. I love this colour as its more of a brighter red, it makes you look younger than a darker red and defiantly a universal colour. MAC's Russian Red shade is a little more deeper red shade. This colour is very pigmented and gives an opaque coverage. Formula/ Texture: I do find the formula dry, thin and a little stiff to apply. This is something different for me as I love the creamy formulas that have a bit of shine to them...

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain

Packaging: Thick satin plastic tube with cap. Each shade has it's corresponding colour as the tube colour with a silver end. In this case it's a light mauve pink with silver text. The bottom of the tube winds the chubby pencil up/down. The end does come softly pointed but does wear down flatter. Smell: Peppermint which I dont particularly like as it reminds me alot of the strong after dinner chocolate mints. Colour: 001 Honey Douche - more mauve and deeper in the tube compared to the outside packaging but this was the lightest shade of the range I had available to me. Sheer pigmentation with a sheen finish.  The sheen does wear off once the lips come into contact with something else. Available in 10 colours. Formula/ Texture: It's a thin, smooth and lightweight texture. It glides on easily. The chubbiness of the crayon adds to the foolproof ability of applying this. I don't think these are nourishing but the sheen on them does...

Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment

Image
After hearing and reading rave reviews for this and putting off buying it due to the price, I decided to just bite the bullet and brought the small size. If this stuff is worth it my hair will thank me later. Packaging: Brown stained lass bottle with screw cap. The screw cap isn't that string as mine has split so regardless I have to keep it stored upright. That or I'm too strong tightening the lid. I've travelled across country and the bottle hasn't been any trouble. The larger sizes have the same packaging with a pump lid which I think would be so much more beneficial in controlling the product. There is some oil spill around the opening. Smell: Perfume but sort of woody scent which I found to be pleasant. Colour: Yellow. Formula/ Texture: This is a thick oil which is non greasy. I do feel it would suit all hair types however there is a light version for more coloured (blonde) and fine hair. It doesn't leave any marks on c...

Nails | OPI Shorts Story

This colour is a typical pink. It's not too deep or light. It is a flat colour with no shimmer or glitter. It is opaque in two coats. This is one of my first polishes. It's a neutral, wearable pink. I love it all year on either fingers or toes. It's most defiantly a girly girl colour that I'm proud to wear! I think a versatile oink is needed in anyones collection.
